We are a non-profit member funded association striving to build a strong network within the forestry sector. We hope to attract "on the ground" forestry personnel, contractors, operators and anyone whose livelihood depends on the forest industry and use this strength to provide a unified voice.
Together we can provide support and enouragement to our Forestry Business partners.
By estabilishing a positive working relationship with all levels of government, we will address problems, concerns, and economic issues that affect the business people working in the forest industry.
We need to raise the forest industry profile by providing tours and encouraging young people to enroll in post secondary courses developed for the forestry sector. Everyone will benefit, more youth will stay and work in our area, contactors will be able to draw from a trained work-force, and mills will gain a more qualified contractor base.
